Hot Air Ballooners

$45.00

A rooster, a duck, and a sheep were the first passengers in a hot air balloon.

Strange but true. Built by the Montgolfier brothers in 1783, the balloon was launched in Paris as a demonstration for the King of France. Ten minutes later the balloon came crashing down, but the farm animals all survived and were hailed as heroes of the air!

In the re-enactment pictured, Angry Duck is still angry, which is perhaps where all the hot air comes from?

Ingredients: Artichokes, capsicum, turnips, spring onion, pears, persimmon, cauliflower, and sweet potatoes.
